I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Taco Trip I can honestly say it was the highlight of my week! From the moment I walked in, I felt the warmth and hospitality of the staff, who are genuinely wonderfully nice. I decided to try the burrito, and it absolutely made my day! This thing is huge, and it comes with fries, making it the perfect meal to satisfy even the biggest appetite. The flavors were delightful, and I could tell they use high-quality ingredients. I had also asked for horchata in the morning, but they didn’t have it available yet. No biggie at all! I returned a bit later, and they not only had it ready but also remembered me from my earlier visit. To my surprise, they generously offered it to me for free just because I came back to try it! That kind of customer service is rare and truly appreciated. As for the horchata, it tasted like home to me—sweet, creamy, and incredibly refreshing. The entire environment is so welcoming, making it a perfect spot to enjoy delicious food and a fantastic experience. If you're looking for a place that serves amazing food and makes you feel like family, this is it! I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to enjoy delightful food, especially at Taco Trip!

At Taco Trip we enjoyed flavorful Mexican cuisine. The chicken sandwich "Torta de Pollo," featured tender chicken in a freshly baked roll, offering a satisfying blend of textures. My wife's chicken tacos were equally delightful, with well-seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The restaurant's casual ambiance and friendly service enhanced our dining experience. Taco Trip is a must-visit for authentic Mexican fare in Texarkana.

Straight up great food and healthy portions for sure. Definitely recommend. Small on inside have seating outside also well worth it for sure

My fiance and I were in the middle of a 10 hr roadtrip from TN to TX and said to ourselves “we need some good Mexican food right now”. I found Taco Trip on google maps and we said “let’s do it”. We take our Mexican food seriously - this place did not disappoint. The chips and salsa they gave us as we sat down? Fresh as hell. We each ordered the fajitas - I got the trio platter and he got steak. 10/10. So flavorful. Exactly what we need to fuel for the next half of our roadtrip. The best part? Such decent serving sizes that we took the rest our food to go and had a snack later on. Thanks to this restaurant, we made it home safely. God bless the ladies who run that place. We love you.

Alright folks....this is the place. I've had tacos from places all over the nation. You want a little slice of some of the best stuff that is in Texarkana? Get it here. Taco Trip does not disappoint. I've had 4 different tacos off their menu and have also had the 3 meat fajitas. I'm not looking up the official names from their menu...just order anything. So far, it's all been excellent. Just do a menu drop. Hover your finger over the menu, close your eyes, drop your finger, whatever it lands on....you order. Just do it....you'll be pleased!

My go-to lunch spot. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. I usually grab some street tacos! Their other menu items are fantastic as well. The fajitas are delectable.

*2nd time* My wife enjoyed the hurrache ____ Got there right before a rush; so good timing. There was one young woman to work the floor, she stayed busy, and was very friendly. We hadn't been here before. The first thing we noticed was how much we enjoyed the salsa and the chips were great and they included little individual cups with beans and cheese, which was an added plus both for the free appetizer but also with the side of beans for the main meal. The main courses were good and guaranteed that we would have to come back. I don't usually like Spanish rice, but I ate all of this portion and enjoyed it. I normally get double beans. I don't know which I'll do next time now. I've never had that concern. :) My wife got the birria brisket tacos and they were very tasty. I've never had enchiladas like I ordered, but that's not a bad thing. I appreciated them and would order them again. We got the mini tacos for my two young kids to split and they were happy. Thanks for the good meal! I can't think of a Mexican restaurant we've had in the area I'd prefer more.
